“It is very exciting to be able to play our first ever matches as Western Sydney Wanderers and to play them in areas the team grew from is very important,” Wanderers FC head coach Tony Popovic said.

“We are still busy in the process of trailing and signing players and these matches will be a great chance to test out potential players in our system.

“While it is still very early in our development the team is coming together nicely and these matches will be a step in the right direction for us as a club.”

Admission to both matches is free.

Last week-s open training session saw a host of fans make their way down to meet the players and coaching staff at the team-s current training base at Blacktown International Sportspark.
