Wanderers give back to Macarthur region

Ahead of the club’s FFA Cup match in Campbelltown next week, the Western Sydney Wanderers have given out family passes to all 25 Member Clubs from the Macarthur Football Association.

The tickets will provide an opportunity for grassroots footballers in the region to attend the Wanderers clash against Wellington Phoenix at Campbelltown Stadium next Tuesday night.

Over 120 grassroots footballers from Macarthur will also be part of the match day experience either as player mascots or as participants in the half-time Miniroos small-sided games.

The Wanderers continued support of the Macarthur Football Association also saw them take part in last weekend’s ALDI Miniroos Gala Day.

Both Josh Risdon and Jack Clisby were in town to help inspire the next generation and to generate interest in football registrations for next season.

This weekend will also see Macarthur Magic host a special needs gala day with the Wanderers providing a signed ball to help raise funds for special needs football in the region.

All funds from the auction will go towards ensuring that football is truly accessible for all.
