Over the holiday season, the NRMA Insurance Western Sydney Wanderers encouraged fans to donate to The Smith Family’s annual Toy & Book Appeal.
More than 300 toys and 200 books were generously donated by Wanderers fans, contributing to The Smith Family’s distribution of over 14,000 Christmas packs to disadvantaged Australian families.
“A huge thanks to the Western Sydney Wanderers and all of the fans who generously supported our Toy & Book Appeal,” said Rosie Simpson, Head of Fundraising at The Smith Family.
“We know Christmas can be a difficult time for many struggling families, but thanks to your contributions we were able to lighten the load for parents and deliver some festive cheer to children in need throughout Western Sydney.”
The Smith Family’s Toy & Book appeal aims to ensure that all Australian families can come together at Christmas to celebrate and share gifts.
