The biggest ever year of the Wanderers Schools Cup will reach a climax next month as Blacktown Football Park hosts the finals.

Seven venues hosted the regional qualifying tournaments of the competition which saw teams qualify for the finals in three divisions: Primary School mixed, High School Boys and High School Girls.

The Finals will be played on Thursday 20 October at Blacktown Football Park with champions from all three divisions to be crowned that day.

So far, almost 2,000 Western Sydney students have been engaged with football through the tournament as 1,946 players and referees from 83 schools were involved in the qualifying rounds, the highest number in the Cup’s four year history.
