The NRMA Insurance Western Sydney Wanderers have today announced the signings of goalkeepers John Hall and Nicholas Suman for the upcoming Hyundai A-League season.

Former Adelaide shot-stopper Hall comes to the club as an Injury Replacement Player for Jerrard Tyson, who will be sidelined for a period following shoulder reconstruction surgery last week, while Academy product Nicholas Suman joins the squad on a one-year deal as a Scholarship Player.

John Hall will make the move across from Adelaide United, where the 22-year-old has spent the last five years.

An Australian youth international, Hall made his Hyundai A-League debut in the 2014/15 season and has since gone on to make nine more appearances in the league.

The 195cm tall youngster featured for the Reds in three matches in the Hyundai A-League 2016/17 season, keeping one clean sheet.

Nicholas Suman has earned a scholarship contract with the club having been part of the Wanderers Academy since 2015.

The Beaumont Hills local joined the Red & Black at the start of the Foxtel National Youth League 2015/16 season and made his debut as a 15-year-old in the opening round of the competition.

Also an Australian youth international, Suman has been a regular in the first-team environment since then and was recently selected in the Wanderers’ AFC Champions League 2017 squad.

The 17-year-old Colo Cougars junior also took out the Rouse Hill Times Young Sporting Spirit Award in February this year.
