The Western Sydney Wanderers are proud to announce the signing of attacker Remy Siemsen for the Westfield W-League 2018/19 season.

Siemsen broke into the Westfield W-League in 2016/17 and became the Sky Blues’ top goalscorer and was named the W-League Young Footballer of the Year in her inaugural season.

The talented attacker backed it up with another fantastic season in the W-League and more recently played in the USA Women’s Premier Soccer League for California Storm.

Mature beyond her years, Siemsen won the Leading Goal Scorer, Leading Individual Points, Equal High Assists Award, and was named in the 2018 Best of the WPSL team in her first season overseas.

Returning now to Australia to prepare for her first season with the Red & Black, Siemsen is ready to achieve big things.

“My main dream and goal has always been to play for the Matildas and I’m not going to stop until I get there,” said Siemsen.

“I hope the Wanderers can help me achieve that, especially with the World Cup coming up next year.

“There’s other aspirations I want to achieve and that’s making it to the Finals and winning the Grand Final with the Wanderers.

“So I believe we can do it with the team that we’re building. I’m really looking forward to putting on the jersey and working really hard for the girls out there.”
