The NRMA Insurance Western Sydney Wanderers will look to end their pre-season camp in Queensland on a high when they take on NPL side Moreton Bay United at Wolter Park on Saturday afternoon.
The Wanderers are coming off a 3-1 win on Tuesday night against fellow NPL QLD side against Brisbane City and will look to fine tune their pre-season preparations further against Moreton Bay.
The Jets promise to be a stern test for Tony Popovic’s side, having only narrowly been beaten 2-1 by Western Pride FC in the NPL QLD Grand Final over the weekend.
The Queensland side were also unlucky not to be joining the Wanderers in this year’s Westfield FFA Cup Quarter Finals after being pipped 1-0 by Gold Coast United in the Round of 16.
The match against Moreton Bay will give Tony Popovic yet another look at his squad as the Red & Black prepare for their Westfield FFA Cup Quarter Final clash against Blacktown City on Wednesday 20 September.
