The NRMA Insurance Western Sydney Wanderers will continue their preparations for the new season with a behind-closed-doors friendly against Brisbane Roar at CBUS Super Stadium at 3:00pm this afternoon.

The match will be the second time that the Wanderers have come up against Hyundai A-League opposition this pre-season following the Red & Black’s 1-0 extra-time win against Wellington Phoenix in the Westfield FFA Cup Round of 32 earlier this month.
The match against the Roar will be one of the final opportunities for coach Tony Popovic to test his squad before their Westfield FFA Cup Round of 16 clash against Bentleigh Greens on Tuesday 29 August.
