Wanderers Members Guy and Laureen recently took away days to another level when they flew over to Shanghai to watch the Red & Black play their first overseas match in the 2017 Asian Champions League.
Wanderers Members Guy and Laureen recently took away days to another level when they flew over to Shanghai to watch the Red & Black play their first overseas match in the 2017 Asian Champions League.
Having travelled to South Korea twice to support the Wanderers in the Champions League in previous years, Guy and Laureen were obviously interested in heading to Shanghai for Match Day two.
Inititally they were very hesitant on booking the trip due to it’s complexities and the short notice.
“So we thought that we’d miss out. Luckily, we saw the promotion by the Wanderers of the tours available from Keith Prowse Tours and decided to give it a go. It was a great decision!”
“The trip was short and sweet. We met up with some local expat supporters at the game and had a fabulous experience” said Guy.
The accomodation was at the team hotel and the trip allowed them enough time to experience the sights and culture Shanghai had to offer.
“The location of the hotel was close to the stadium, which was very important plus there were shops nearby as well as access to the Shanghai Metro.”
Overall, the experience was one that Guy and Laureen would certainly remember for a long time.
“We are so glad that we took the opportunity to travel to Shanghai, despite the result.
