We have today parted ways with defender Daniel Mullen by mutual consent with immediate effect.
Mullen departs with our best wishes having made nine appearances for the Red & Black, including 90 minutes in the AFC Champions League Final win, after signing in February 2014.
CEO John Tsatsimas thanked Mullen for his contribution to the Club over the past 12 months.
“Daniel was an important part of our victorious Champions League campaign and was a popular figure around the Club.
“Unfortunately first team opportunities haven’t been as regular as Daniel had hoped for so we have granted a release to allow him to pursue more playing time.
“We will remember Daniel’s year with the Club fondly and we wish him well for the rest of his career.”
Mullen has departed the Club with immediate effect.
New signing Sam Gallaway will join the Hyundai A-League squad for the remainder of the Hyundai A-League 2014/15 season, wearing the number 25 jersey.
