The Western Sydney Wanderers today announced JD Sports, the ‘Undisputed King of Trainers’, as left sleeve and left back-of-short partners for their match against Arsenal on 15 July 2017.

To announce the partnership, Wanderers players will be attending the opening of JD Sports first ever NSW store at Westfield Parramatta on Thursday 13 July.

Western Sydney Wanderers CEO John Tsatsimas said the partnership was an exciting opportunity to connect two great brands together.

Meet the players including Oriol Riera, Brendon Santalab, Robbie Cornthwaite and Roly Bonevacia at the launch of JD Sports Parramatta Westfield from 4pm this Thursday.

“JD Sports is a massive global retail brand and the fact they are opening their first NSW store in our backyard is fantastic,” said Tsatsimas.

“We are a youthful club that feeds on football’s young demographic and this is a great opportunity to join forces when the Wanderers will be on show in a match that will be seen around the world.”

JD Sports’ third store in Australia following the hugely successful opening of their Queensland and Victoria stores will be located at Parramatta’s iconic destination for fashion, lifestyle and unique experiences will be located on level 3, alongside other global retailers including Zara and Tommy Hilfiger.

“This partnership between JD and the Wanderers is a great start to the connection between the fans, the players and the exclusive product offering of JD,” said Head of JD Australia, Hilton Seskin.

“We are excited by this opportunity and look forward to many more opportunities to work with the club and their passionate fan base.

“The highly anticipated JD Sports Parramatta launch is expected to attract sneakerheads on mass, following the success of Melbourne Central’s flagship store, which went down as one of the largest launch days of any international territory within the JD Sports business,”

The 400sqm JD Sports space will offer a range of leading global brands across a wide category of products including footwear and apparel for men, women and children from performance to lifestyle, presented in a highly immersive, multi-channel, retail environment, which has never been seen before on the Australian high street.

JD Sports Westfield Parramatta store will open from 9:30am Thursday 13 July.
