The Western Sydney Wanderers and Westfield have renewed their partnership for a further two seasons and will celebrate with a unique blitz across the region.
A foundation partner, the renewed agreement will see the Westfield logo remain on the front of shorts as well as host the Wanderers’ players when they visit all five Westfield centres in Western Sydney.
Held throughout the first week of September school holidays, the Red & Black will visit a different centre every day with 4-6 players each visiting Penrith, Liverpool, Parramatta, Mt Druitt and Burwood.
Every player in the Hyundai A-League squad will be involved in the visits.
Western Sydney Wanderers CEO John Tsatsimas said fans should be excited about the upcoming blitz.
“We’re excited that our Members and fans will get the chance to meet the players at Westfield centres around Western Sydney in the lead-up to the Round 1 Sydney Derby”, said Tsatsimas.
“It’s a proud moment for our club to extend our partnership with Westfield: they’re long-term partners of football in general and like us, they were formed in Western Sydney.
“As Foundation Partners, Westfield have been with us from season one and this renewal will see us reach six years together.”

Westfield Liverpool: Sunday 25 September
Westfield Burwood: Monday 26 September
Westfield Parramatta: Tuesday 27 September
Westfield Penrith: Wednesday 28 September
Westfield Mt Druitt: Thursday 29 September
