The Westfeild W-League star lashed a shot into the top corner of the Canada net on the hour mark to kick-start a 3-0 triumph at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California.
Lindsay Horan and FIFA world player of the year Megan Rapinoe added late goals to crown the US as champions of the 2020 Olympic Games qualifying campaign.
Both teams had already punched their tickets to Tokyo by winning their semi-final matches to clinch the two available slots for teams in the North, Central America and Caribbean region.
The US beat Mexico 4-0 to book their place, with Samantha Mewis scoring twice, while Canada joined their neighbours in Japan after a 1-0 win against Costa Rica thanks to a goal from tournament top goalscorer Jordyn Huitema.
Williams struck three goals in the competition for head coach Vlatko Andonovski’s side, adding to earlier efforts against Haiti and Panama in the group stage.

The 26-year-old, who is with Western Sydney on loan from National Women’s Soccer League champions North Carolina Courage, has nine international goals from 25 caps.
She has netted four goals in five games in Red and Black in the Westfield W-League 2019/20 season, playing alongside compatriot and North Carolina strike partner Kristen Hamilton for Wanderers.
Dean Heffernan’s side travel to face Sydney FC at Cromer Park in the Sydney Derby on Saturday, 15 February, after Wanderers dealt the Sky Blues a 5-0 hammering in the reverse fixture at Bankwest Stadium back in December’s Round 6 encounter.
