The Wanderers take on finals contenders Perth Glory in what will be an exciting matchup on Thursday night at Marconi Stadium.

The Red & Black come into the match with some confidence after securing their first win of the season against Adelaide last round.

Elizabeth Addo, Erica Halloway, Lo’eau LaBonta and Kylie Ledbrook all had brilliant games in attack as the Wanderers showed what they were capable of with a dominant display over the home side.

Skipper Servet Uzunlar, Sydney Miramontez and Maruschka Waldus were also all steely in defence as the Wanderers dented Adelaide’s finals chances.

Celebration

Perth had a buy last round but were beaten 3-1 by Newcastle in their previous fixture. The Glory will be keen to bounce back and remain in finals contention, with Adelaide and Melbourne City breathing down their neck on the ladder.

In the sides previous meeting, Peth won 3-0 thanks to a double from Rachel Hill and a goal from Sam Kerr. Together, Kerr and Hill have scored 14 goals between them this season and have created a staggering 52 goal scoring chances.

The Wanderers will be looking to finish their season off in fine style and with only two games remaining will be out to set the tone for next Westfield W-League season.

It promises to be another exciting Thursday night blockbuster at Marconi Stadium with a bumper crowd expected for the Wanderers last home game of the season.
