The Western Sydney Wanderers Westfield W-League travel to Adelaide this Saturday 11 January to take on the Lady Reds at Burton Park.

While the first half of the season has been marred by injuries the Wander Women have been in excellent form moving steadily up the table with some impressive wins while a loss to Melbourne still provided an excellent performance against the table-toppers.

The sides last met in Round 1 at Marconi Stadium where a dominate Wanderers almost fell to an unlikely loss until a late Catherine Cannuli strike claimed a point for the Red and Black in a match where they should have taken all three.

With Adelaide three points above the Wanderers, though having played an extra match, a win for Western Sydney would allow them to continue their late charge for finals football.

The match will likely see the return of Westfield Matilda Servet Uzunlar who will take to the field for the first time this season while Rachael Soutar will also be back in contention for selection following a better than expected recovery from injury.

Linda O-Neill will also be in action despite being stretchered off in a neck brace last round against Victory.
