Western Sydney Wanderers new signing Georgia Yeoman-Dale says she’s made the right decision signing for the Red & Black and is excited for her first season with the club.

Yeoman-Dale has had a wealth of experience in the Westfield W-League and has played for clubs such as Canberra United, Newcastle Jets and Sydney FC.

This Westfield W-League season marks the first time Yeoman-Dale will be putting on the Red & Black hoops and it is something she believes has come at the right time of her career.

“I’m really excited about joining the Wanderers, it’s my fourth club now but it’s the right move at the moment and I’m excited,” said Yeoman-Dale.

“Personally, I’m looking to have a season where I enjoy it and I’m playing good football constantly.

“As a team, the squad we are bringing together is looking really competitive and finals would be a nice way to finish off the season.”

Yeoman-Dale revealed the role head coach Dan Barrett played in getting her to make the move to Western Sydney, having spent the last two seasons at the club’s cross-city rivals.

“I think as soon as you see an ex-Sydney FC coach moving over to the Wanderers, players like myself who enjoyed playing for him makes the decision a little bit harder.

“I think I’ve chosen the right way.”
