The NRMA Insurance Western Sydney Wanderers Football Club have continued their commitment to the development of young footballers by re-signing Young Socceroos Jaushua Sotirio, Shayne D’Cunha and Liam Youlley.

The trio have played a combined 19 first team matches for the Red & Black with all three involved in the latest Young Socceroos squad which saw eight Wanderers in total pull on the green and gold.

Forward Jaushua Sotirio is the most experienced of the three, making his debut against Newcastle Jets in Round 10 of 2013/14 and scoring his first goal against Perth in Round 6 of this season.

Shayne D’Cunha made a last minute debut against Central Coast Mariners in Round 25 before the defender followed that with a solid 90 minute performance in the final Hyundai A-League match of the season against Perth Glory.

Foxtel Youth League Player of the Year Liam Youlley has been signed to a Youth Development Contract with the midfielder looking to build on his solitary first team appearance when he scored on debut against Perth Glory in Round 27.

An integral part of the Wanderers mission has been to create a club culture that strives to develop and nurture young talent.

CEO John Tsatsimas reiterated the Wanderers commitment to developing youth footballers from the region.

“Along with the re-signing of Aspropotamitis earlier this week, it is fantastic watching this group of players come through the ranks of our club, proving themselves on the pitch and securing their first senior contracts,” said Tsatsimas.

“We have an ambition to create a club to develop and recruit the best young players to take them from the grassroots to a professional career in football.

“These signings are a testament to our commitment to young footballers in this region and I am sure that all three will benefit from the first 12 months of their professional careers.”
