Youth Asian Cup this Saturday

Thumbnail

Following the success of the Wanderers Asian Community Cup held late last year, the Wanderers Youth Asian Cup will be launched this weekend at Insideout Football.

The senior version brought communities in Western Sydney together and showcased a vast amount of talent that saw Iraq come out winners – in turn earning the right to be presented to the crowd at half time of the Hyundia A-League match against Melbourne Victory.

The Youth Asian Cup is modelled on the success of its predecessor with 12 countries participating.

Fans are encouraged to come along and attend the free event and explore the facilities of Insideout football which is also the home of our advanced weekly clinic programs.

The day will be starting at 10am with the two finals played at 6pm; timed to finish just before the AFC Asian Cup Final kicks-off at Stadium Australia.

The event has been organised by Western Sydney Wanderers with support from the Local Organising Committee of the AFC Asian Cup 2015 and Red Elephant projects.

The Youth Asian Cup will promote the Asian Cup to younger generations whilst demonstrating a sense of community between different cultures found in Western Sydney.

InsideOut Football is located on Rod Laver Drive, Sydney Olympic Park.
