A former UEFA Champions League winner and Socceroo with extensive Hyundai A-League coaching experience, Zeljko Kalac was announced as the club’s head goalkeeper coach on 22 May 2015.
42-year-old Kalac heads our goalkeeping development with the Hyundai A-League, Westfield W-League and Foxtel Youth League squads, as well as the new Wanderers Academy Structure, where he will play a vital role in the club’s commitment to an elite player pathway for the Western Sydney region.
The Sydney United junior spent four years with cross-town rivals Sydney FC as the club’s goalkeeping coach before joining us before the 2015/16 season.
As a player, Kalac enjoyed stints abroad in England, Netherlands, Greece and Italy where he won the UEFA Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup with AC Milan.
The former Socceroo made over 50 appearances for the national side.
