Biography
Born in Kenya, Kamau moved to Australia when he was 4-years-old and began his footballing career as a junior at N.AB before joining Campbelltown City in South Australia.
Kamau had stints at both Adelaide City as well as Adelaide Olympic before signing for Hyundai A-League outfit Adelaide United.
The pacey winger made his debut for Adelaide in the 2014 FFA Cup against Wellington Phoenix and scored his first Hyundai A-league goal in Round 20 of the 2015/16 season.
In 2016, Kamau left Adelaide to join Melbourne City for two seasons.
A year later, he was named in the Australian U23s team for the AFC U23s Championship qualifier and main tournament.
Kamau joined the Red & Black in May 2018 and made his debut in the FFA Cup Round of 32 against Hellenic AC.
