Danijel Nizic

Danijel Nizic joined the Wanderers on 4 July 2018 on a two-year deal following the expiration of his contract with League Two's Morecambe FC, where he spent the last two seasons. An Australian youth international, Nizic returned home for the first time with the Red & Black since moving overseas in 2012, spending a year on trial with League One side Portsmouth before signing a two-year contract with Burnley. The talented shot-stopper has had stints at Working, Chorley and Crewe Alexandra on loan. Nizic made his Wanderers debut in the FFA Cup Round of 32 against Hellenic AC at Darwin Football Stadium.
