Jarrod Carluccio

A proud Western Sydney local and product of the Wanderers Academy, Jarrod Carluccio embodies the passion, determination and fighting spirit of the Red & Black, having progressed through the club’s youth ranks to establish himself as an experienced A-League Men player.

Born in Sydney, Carluccio joined the Wanderers Academy in 2015 as one of its inaugural players, beginning a journey that would see him develop through the youth system and earn his opportunity at senior level.

He made his first senior appearance in the Wanderers’ historic inaugural match at CommBank Stadium against English Premier League side Leeds United in 2019, before making his A-League debut against Melbourne City in March 2020.

Carluccio continued his development through the Wanderers’ National Premier Leagues program, where he captained the first-grade side and played an important role in the club’s promotion in 2022. His performances also earned him international recognition with the Young Socceroos, representing Australia at Under-20 level.

In September 2023, Carluccio joined Perth Glory, initially on loan before making the move permanent. During his time in Western Australia, he made 35 A-League appearances and scored two goals, gaining valuable experience and further developing his versatility across defensive and attacking positions.

His connection to Western Sydney saw him return to the Wanderers in January 2025, reuniting with the club where his football journey began.

In June 2026, Carluccio signed a new two-year contract extension, securing his future with the Red & Black until the end of the 2027/28 season and continuing a relationship with the club spanning more than a decade.

Ahead of the 2026/27 A-League Men campaign, Carluccio was named in the Wanderers’ leadership group, recognising his experience, commitment and deep connection to the club.

Known for his versatility, relentless work ethic and competitive mentality, Carluccio brings energy, experience and a genuine passion for representing Western Sydney, continuing to proudly wear the Red & Black as one of the club’s homegrown talents.
