After featuring in 20 matches over two seasons for the Rapids, Hamilton made the switch to Western New York Flash before the club was relocated to North Carolina and became the Courage. Hamilton has made over 50 appearances for the Courage and this season has had a career-best after playing in 24 matches and scoring nine goals. The forward has a number of accolades to her name and has won the NWSL on three occasions – in 2016, 2018 and 2019 respectively, and has also won the Women’s International Champions Cup in 2018. It can be argued that 2019 was Hamilton’s year, with the forward scoring the first hat-trick of her career followed by a four-goal game against Houston to tie the league record for most goals in a single match. Hamilton was also called into the United States senior team for the first time in her career and earned her first cap in a friendly against Portugal. This Westfield W-League season with the Wanderers will be Hamilton’s first season outside of the United States.
