Kyra Cooney-Cross

A Ballarat City junior, Cooney-Cross burst onto the Westfield W-League scene at the start of the 2017/18 season when she signed for Melbourne Victory as a 16-year-old. In her debut season at the club, the creative midfielder featured in all 12 matches, scoring two goals. Part of last season’s Westfield W-League Premiers Plate winning squad, Cooney-Cross has been a regular in the Young Matildas squad and recently joined teammates Courtney Nevin and Susan Phonsongkham at the AFC U-19 Women's Championship.
